The Nokia Lumia series was a hit in Europe upon its launch and many people in the Philippines are anticipating its release here. The Lumia 710 is the younger brother of Nokia Lumia 800 but almost of the same specs. They only differ in camera and physical built but they virtually have the same muscle and speed. The thing that makes Lumia 800 special is its unibody casing made out of polycarbonate material while the 710 is made of regular plastic materials. Both are eye-candies especially that Lumia 710 comes in more color options because of it's replaceable back cover. The price??.. a huuuuuge difference! The Lumia 800 is expected to be launched at a price range of Php 25,000~26,000 while the Lumia 710 is rumored to be around Php 16,000~18,000. The question is.. will they be launched at the same time?

In Europe, Lumia 800 was launched first and then Lumia 710 was launched several weeks after. Now how is that significant to the Philippine market? Well, budget -wise, Filipinos always go for a cheaper price of the same quality.

Nobody really knows how Nokia works that out in 2012. If they take the European pattern, I doubt it would be as hit because of the price factor.  But I'm just speculating here. A Nokia-Windows tandem is something new and judging from a Filipino standpoint, we always love to try anything that is not ordinary. A simultaneous launch will be cool because that gives us the option but it's not in our hands though so let's see what happens...
